Seguin Student Council delivers food items to Center of Hope

Members of the Seguin Elementary Student Council organized a food drive for the Center of Hope to collect breakfast items for the holidays.
Following the campus food drive, the Student Council group also traveled to the Center of Hope where they unpacked their collected food items and helped stock the holiday store (courtesy photo).

Martin elementary students demonstrate STEMscopes science curriculum to WISD Board members

33 WHS students advance to All Region Band, 17 also advance to Area

Thirty-three members of the Weatherford High School band advanced to upcoming Region 7 competition Jan. 17-18. These students will advance to participate in the Texas Region 7 band clinics and concerts.
Among those students advancing to Regionals, 17 students also advanced to the Area competition, which consists of auditions that qualifies only the select few to the Texas All State Band.

Hall students continue to 'Stuff the Bus' with over 100 Christmas gifts

Children of Parker County will be the happy recipients of over 100 Christmas gifts donated by the students at Hall Middle School to the Manna Storehouse's annual "Stuff the Bus" campaign.
Members of Hall Middle School's National Junior Honor Society led the campus in the collection of the toys.
