Crockett Elementary students participated in a school effort that was inspired by the book, "How Full is your Bucket."
During classroom counseling time, all grade levels read the book and discussed how important it is to fill each other's bucket which, in return, helps to fill your own bucket. Within one week's time, the students had given more than 2,500 compliments to friends and staff.
The week was filled with amazing stories about what it felt like getting and giving compliments.

Every two years, the University Interscholastic League (UIL) uses student enrollment figures to determine school districts' classifications (1A -6A), then realigns districts to balance the number of teams and to minimize travel. This morning the UIL announced the Conference Cutoff Numbers for 2014-2016, providing the range of enrollment for each of the six conferences. Weatherford ISD’s enrollment of 2,227 places us in the UIL’s 6A conference.

Two of the teams placed well enough in their division to advance them to the state contests, while the others were merely points away from advancing as well.
