Connect an iPad to Your Home Network
Step 1: Click on Settings.
If you are using a district provided hotspot, please make sure it is turned on, so it may autoconnect. |

Step 3: Click on your home network name. |

Step 5: A checkmark will appear next to the network when you are connected to it.From here you may close out of settings.

Step 6: Open the Chrome Browser. This is located in the Google folder on your desktop.

Step 7: The student will log in to Cipafilter with his or her district account [email protected] (there are exceptions to the username) and password.Upon successful login, the iPad will be filtered with Cipafilter.
Username:[email protected]
(There are exceptions to the username.) Eight characters of first name and eight characters of last name with a tie breaker. Password:Elementary students- roos and the student ID number.
Students may know the ID number as his or her lunch number.
Example: roos912345
If a student does not know his or her username or ID, then the parent needs to contact the teacher.

Shared iPad:If the iPad is to be shared between students, click on Cipafilter Logout on the home screen.
The next time the internet is accessed, the Cipafilter login process will start again.

Enter the password for your home network.
