New User - First Time Login

New users who cannot log on to a District networked computer to complete the initial password change

through the Weatherford ISD Single Sign-On (SSO) portal will follow the directions below:

 

Logging on to SSO Portal:

 

  • Download the Google Authenticator application to your phone from your App Store.

    • “New Password” field:
      • Enter your new password
        *see below for password criteria
    • “Confirm New Password” field:
      • Enter your new password again for confirmation
  • Log in.
    • *If you are outside the District, you will be prompted to use Google Authenticator as part of a two-step authentication process. There will be a series of 5 security questions you must answer before completion

 The new password requirements are as follows:

  1. All passwords will be a minimum of 15 characters long.
  2. Passwords must meet the criteria of complexity rules.
    1. Passwords may neither contain the user's account name nor exceed two consecutive characters from parts of the user's full name; and
    2. Passwords must contain characters from three of the following four categories:
      • English uppercase characters (A through Z)
      • English lowercase characters (a through z)
      • Base 10 digits (0 through 9)
      • Non-alphabetic characters (for example: !, $, #, %) – DO NOT USE A + SIGN.
  3. Weatherford ISD passwords should not be used with any other non-WISD systems.

Password Lockout Policy

  1. Your account will lockout after 4 bad password attempts.
  2. Your account will remain locked out for 1 hour.
  3. You may contact Technology to assist with an account lockout or a password reset.
  4. You may also go to  https://launchpad.classlink.com/weatherfordisd and click “Forgot Password” to change your password. This action will also remove the account lockout.

    NOTE: You will need to know the answers to the Identity Verification System (IVS) Security Questions you answered during SSO setup.
